How to use unusual whales?
Live options order-flow alerts built on a forward Alpaca OPRA tape: sweep detection, large prints, dollar-signed put/call skew and unusual-volume ratios. Tiers are Free, Pro $29 and Premium $79 (Premium is bundled with Desk).
Start with the provider’s own documentation and confirm your plan’s access. For any flow workflow, filter by underlying, expiry and trade size, then inspect context such as volume and open interest. Compare the same contracts and time window when evaluating FlowAlerts; an isolated print does not establish trader intent.
